JOB CAPTAIN:

The candidate must have 6-8 years experience with an architectural license preferred. Must have an understanding of a variety of project types and their code issues-institutional, commercial and multi-family residential buildings of Type I and Type III construction. Must be familiar with a wide variety of construction practices and procedures. The candidate will interpret sketches and adapt concepts into a set of architectural construction documents and perform site observation. Must be able to work independently and show initiative. Must be AutoCAD proficient. May direct and lead the work of others and will assist in coordinating consultants.

JUNIOR ARCHITECT:

Candidate must have 2-4 years experience minimum (Architecture degree preferred). Must be proficient in AutoCAD 2005 with AutoCAD 3d Massing capabilities preferred. Required experience (skills) in architectural production, construction documents & detailing. Experience in AutoDesk Viz or Sketch-Up also a plus. Preferred experience with small to mid-sized commercial, residential, multi-family and historic projects with some degree of creativity and latitude.
